October 2017 was a memorable month. For the first time ever, SingularityU had an international summit in Denmark. The event took place in the beautiful and prestigious Danish Opera House, in the middle of Copenhagen.
For two days some of the most brilliant tech minds in the world went on stage to talk about how exponential technologies are about to change the world as we know it. The keynote speakers from all over the world, gave their insight on a variety of technologies, from cryptocurrency to robotics and from biohacking to eternal life.
It was a great honor for me to be invited both to talk at the summit, but also to be able to hear all the amazing keynotes, and the event really blew my mind.
My presentation was titled “Robots for good” and focused on the work I do with telepresence robots, and how they can be an effective way to help children that can’t attend school.
After two exciting days, I left the summit as a completely changed person. The exponential technology has so much potential when it comes to solutions to all the biggest problems in the world, and I truly believe that we can make the world a better place if we use the technology that we are given in a constructive way.
The most amazing thing about the summit was to meet so many people from all over the world, that all had one thing in common. We all believed that everything is possible and we all wanted to contribute to the greater good.
